Women’s Ministries: Throughout the year we have Tuesdays on Point Bible Studies or Discussion Groups. Sometimes we delve into the Bible, sometimes we discuss a book, but we always learn from one another and grow spiritually as we walk together! Schedule varies but there are usually 5 or 6 studies a year. Ages and participation vary from Study to Study but we sometimes have women in their 20’s up to women that are more fully mature. =)
Women’s Spiritual Retreat: We have an annual Women’s Spiritual Retreat for a weekend (Friday evening –Sunday morning) at a retreat site. Usually in the fall but themes and weekends vary. We have participants of all ages: from women in their 20’s through women in their 80’s.
“Table Talk”:is an informal gathering for women on the first Thursday of every month at 6:15 p.m. We all bring a lite snack to share, have a time of devotion and prayer and then just see where the evening takes us as we talk with one another in the presence of our God. Women of all ages are invited to participate and we have had women in their 20’s to women in their 80’s table talking together!
Discussion Group:This group investigates various religious topics with questioning minds such as the Old and New Testaments, biblical writers, other religious beliefs and are always opened to suggestions of other subjects. Using outside sources as a foundational platform to the personal discovery of the understanding of our faith, exploring in a nonjudgmental atmosphere. Come and explore with us on Thursdays at 2:30 pm in the adult lounge.
DOG (Disciples of God) Group: We are a group of Mentally Challenged adults that recognize ourselves as reflections of God—hence our name DOGs. We meet monthly at various times and participate in various events. Sometimes we go bowling, sometimes we have a mission project (making things for others or serving a meal to the homeless), sometimes we have a Bible Study but we ALWAYS have fun and love one another a lot! Please contact Pastor Erica for more information about this group. A schedule can be found on the bulletin board outside the Church Office.
