Letter from a new family:
Looking for a church to call home?
Our family recently found ourselves in that position. We knew what we were hoping for: a church with Sunday morning worship services that we enjoyed, an engaging and active youth group for our daughter, and pastors who were warm, talented, Christian leaders.
We looked for what felt like a long time. Over the months, some friends of ours kept encouraging us to visit St. Paul’s. Though we live 30 minutes away, we finally decided to give it a try, as we hadn’t yet found our church home.
After our first visit, we never went anywhere else. The service was warm, with hymns we knew and enjoyed, an engaging and encouraging message, and everyone singing God Be with You to one another as the service concluded. As our daughter visited the youth program, she began not wanting to miss a week. The pastors took time to get to know us, answer our questions, and greet us by name on Sundays. In our short time of membership, we have enjoyed mission opportunities, family camp, Bible study, and youth events.
If you are looking for a church family, we hope that you will try St. Paul’s, as we did.
God Be with You,
The Maus Family
